Perennial privacy policy

Last updated 17 October 2026.

The short version

Perennial does not collect your personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. What you write stays on your device.

What is stored, and where

Notes and progress. Saved only on your device (in the app’s private storage on iPhone, or in your browser’s local storage on the web version). We cannot see them.

Settings and reminders. Your chosen reminder time is kept on the device. Reminders are local notifications scheduled by your phone.

Backups. On iPhone, the app’s data may be included in your own device or iCloud backups, which Apple encrypts and controls. Deleting the app, or using “Delete all my data” in the app, removes it from the device.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is processed by Apple. We receive no payment details, name or email from you through the app. Apple’s own privacy policy applies to the purchase.

Voice

The spoken lessons are AI-generated. Today the voice is produced on your device. If this changes, this policy will say so before the change ships.

Web version

The web version makes no requests with your data. Fonts are served from the same site.

Children

Perennial is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access or delete on our side. Questions: avinash@godel.in.

Changes
